Uniform and Badges
Full uniform consists of the jumper (for Beavers and Cubs) or Shirt (for Scouts), the group necker, blue scout trousers or black school trousers, and black shoes. However, full uniform is only needed for official events and parades, such as Rememberance Sunday Parade, and for normal section nights and activites, just having the necker and jumper/shirt will do. The necker can be got from the group (just ask a leader), whereas the jumpers/shirt can be bought from the Scout's online shop.
Badges
A big part of Scouting is earning badges, and these can be worn on the uniform in the places shown on the diagram below. When you move up to another section, you can put your badges from your old uniform onto a camp blanket, along with any other badges you may have bought/ collected, making something cool and unique to you that you can bring out around a camp fire.
